Nevada Master Inspector of Structures, Inspection Engineer, Residential and Commercial Inspector
David has over 31 years of experience working as a degreed Mechanical Engineer. He started working with Criterium-McWilliam Engineers in 2005. Since that time, he has conducted over 4,000 residential home inspections. David also conducts commercial inspections.
Area of Expertise
David Taylor is an engineering technician with Criterium-McWilliam Engineers. He has gained tremendous experience in the construction industry through his work with major development projects and recent quality evaluations. David has inspected over 4,500 single-family homes, high-rise condominiums, and luxury homes for the perspective homeowners. Mr. Taylor’s inspections and evaluations extend to existing and new residential construction – both during the construction process and after completion. In addition to residential home inspections, David has significant experience performing commercial building evaluations over the past 16 years for many different types of buildings in Nevada, California, Arizona, and other states.
Qualifications
Mr. Taylor is a degreed Mechanical Engineer. He has worked with various construction regimens since he entered the engineering field over 38 years ago. David was mentored on inspections by Charles “Chay” McWilliam, P.E., and Master Inspector. He earned his State Residential Inspector of Structures License in 2007. Davide subsequently earned his Inspector of Structures General License in 2012, and then in 2013, earned his Master Inspector License in the State of Nevada.
Education
Mr. Taylor earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1983. He has been involved in the Las Vegas construction and building evaluation industry since 2005. David also has an EIFS (External Insulation and Finishing System) Certification with the American Wall Ceiling Institute.
